Effect of Additional Energy Supplement on the Productive Performance of Lactating Murrah Buffaloes

چکیده
Background: Energy is one of the most important nutritional factors that limits production dairy animals. It has been observed productivity animals adversely affected because lack providing sufficient ration in early lactation stage which results into weight loss, anemia and various reproductive metabolic disorders. Maximizing energy intake by increasing density diet a logical feeding strategy for lactating buffaloes. Methods: Considering need high yielding especially their lactation, experiment was planned to investigate effect additional supplement (5% concentrate, soybean oil @ 100 ml/animal/day, bypass fat g/animal/day roasted g/animal/day) on productive performance 30 apparently healthy Murrah buffaloes period 90 days post-partum. Result: Maximum per cent increase milk yield noted T3 group. The average percent increased significantly (p less than 0.05) throughout study all groups. There no significant difference overall protein, lactose, SNF total solids were among

Effects of Dietary Protein and Energy Levels on Productive and Reproductive Performance of Lactating Buffaloes
Twenty eight lactating buffaloes were used in a completely randomized design with 2×2 factorial arrangement of four experimental diets including low protein–low energy (LP-LE), low protein–high energy (LP-HE), high protein–low energy (HP-LE) and high protein–high energy (HP-HE). Results showed that the HP-HE diet recorded the highest digestibility coefficients of CP, EE, NFE, nutritive values, ...
